The first time safari often starts with one or several game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater, which boasts Africa’s richest concentration of major species, including lions, elephants, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, zebra, wildebeest, cape buffalo, hyena and many, many more. In fact, the Crater has two lion prides, both of which have over 20 members. And so, in a single morning and evening game drive, the first time safari participant can view the most desirable species and then can spend the remaining safari time in other parks that have fewer people and which offer better quality viewing, though often with less frequent animal sightings.

But always, in the case of a first time safari, Shaaban will communicate with the family or group, either by email or preferably by Skype, so that he can learn the exact preferences and expectations of his clients.
